Solid in coverage, on the blitz and against the run.

Clearly, as the season progresses the TN defense will be one to learn about.Talkin' S-Machttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01986228427076682662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6236498470662179494.post-17465408885631278222008-09-01T21:49:00.000-04:002008-09-01T21:49:00.000-04:00Again, as I watch the UCLA vs. Tennessee game, som...Again, as I watch the UCLA vs. Tennessee game, some of the better players that I am seeing are not Jr's nor Sr's.

Quick notes;

Guys who are that have caught my eye:

UCLA CB: Alterraun Verner. Guy looks like an athlete. Persistent. Can blitz with effectiveness. Can play man & zone. Not afraid to take on a ball carrier. I'm impressed.

UCLA LB: Kyle Bosworth. All over the field. Solid against the run. Sure tackler. He, too, has been effective on the blitz.

UCLA DE: Brigham Harwell. A little undersized. Does not look athletic, but works hard and is around the football at the point of attack. Does not give up on plays.

Tennesse RB: Arian Foster. Running style reminds me of Eddie George. Good hands. Hard runner. Patient. Looks for contact.

Tennessee LB: Nevin McKenzie. Converted S. Athletic. Undersized. Fast to the ball.

Tennessee S: Demetrice Morley

Tennessee DT: Demonte Bolden - big at point of attack.

More to come in following weeks. Tennessee's defense has Jr's & Sr's that are worth learning about.Talkin' S-Machttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01986228427076682662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6236498470662179494.post-79029392231882262552008-09-01T20:36:00.000-04:002008-09-01T20:36:00.000-04:00Rutgers WR Tiquan Underwood is a guy that will be ...Rutgers WR Tiquan Underwood is a guy that will be a mid to late round NFL prospect.Talkin' S-Machttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01986228427076682662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6236498470662179494.post-84189566637082882082008-09-01T12:22:00.000-04:002008-09-01T12:22:00.000-04:00Chico,Thanks for the line! Smooth. Aggressive.

DT: Myron Pryor. He would be an addition to our lineup this year.

DE: Jeremy Jarmon. Comes off the edge. Gets a push. Active hands, length and arms.Talkin' S-Machttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01986228427076682662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6236498470662179494.post-84470811681007858692008-09-01T10:51:00.000-04:002008-09-01T10:51:00.000-04:00Well the team is set I have my tickets to the Viki...Well the team is set I have my tickets to the Vikings game on Monday night and I can't wait. Prediction 34-10 Green Bay the loss of the Vikings LT is HUGE especially for a running game. They will not be able to complete more then 10 balls against us.

I really like the make up of this team. The youth of this team really excites me though it might cost a game or two.

I see Green Bay 11-5 or 10-6 at worst. Our special teams should be one of the best in the league and our defense will be top 10 and our offense will be top 10 if not top 5!

Scotty I'm with you...no jersey will be worn this year just the Green Bay crest because this "team" will be good! Simply said..."GO PACK!"

P.S. God do the Bears suck! Are the Cubs going to blow this thing? This has the makings of being a special September/October!chicohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09234802235883878472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6236498470662179494.post-14990052686610312202008-08-31T11:59:00.000-04:002008-08-31T11:59:00.000-04:00I would consider Jerome McDougal.
